Drivers Age

26 to 99 Years

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to rent a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that, if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Travel Restrictions

Please note that authorization must be obtained from the rental agent before cross state travel. If not obtained fines and penalities are applicable. Please contact the rental agent in advance in order to receive permission.

The rental vehicle may only be used in the state of pick-up and the surrounding geographical area (Region) as specified below:

•Vehicles rented in Arizona can be driven to California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington

•Vehicles rented in Colorado can be driven to Arizona, California, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming

•Vehicles rented in California can be driven to Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington.

•Vehicles rented in Connecticut can be driven to Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont.

•Vehicles rented in Florida can be driven to Alabama, Georgia.

•Vehicles rented in Georgia can be driven to Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee.

•Vehicles rented in Hawaii cannot be rented for one-way rentals or and travel outside Hawaii are not permitted.

•Vehicles rented in Illinois can be driven to Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri.

•Vehicles rented in Indiana can be driven to Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio.

•Vehicles rented in Massachusetts can be driven to Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont.

•Vehicles rented in Minnesota can be driven to Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin.

•Vehicles rented in Nevada can be driven to Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah.

•Vehicles rented in New York can be driven to Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Regional Municipality of Niagara (Canada), Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington D.C.

•Vehicles rented in Pennsylvania can be driven to Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington D.C.

•Vehicles rented in Texas can be driven to Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon

•Vehicles rented in Virginia Region can be driven to New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, New York, Washington D.C., Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida

•Vehicles rented in Washington can be driven to British Columbia (Canada), California, Nevada, Oregon and Arizona

Renters using the rental vehicle in violation of the applicable territorial restrictions will be charged a fee of USD 0.50 for each mile the vehicle has been driven during the rental.

For one-way rentals across state lines, the geographical restrictions described in the table above are waived with a matching itinerary showing the same pickup and drop off locations. However, the Vehicle may only be used in the continental United States as well as British Columbia, Canada.
